Hey it's Zion!
I want to show you how to play online poker through a zoom call with your friends and control the game yourself so you're not playing with a bunch of people you don't know. You're only playing with your friends.
This is great if you've got family and friends and are locked down right now during this Corona virus quarantine. A friend of mine figured this out - shout out to Kerry! You're awesome! He did not create this site. He found this site and the guy that made this. It's amazing. and there's a way you can contribute and send them a little bit of money for the fun you're going to get out of this. It's really awesome.
So what you're going to do is you're going to go to www.pokernow.club. Make sure you put the www in - that is needed for the site.
Once you're there, just add your name. If you're setting up the game, you're going to decide what the small and big blinds are and how much you want for everybody's stack. So in this case, a thousand bucks,...
Hey guys, it's Zion.
I wanted to send you a quick note of encouragement.
Because you have an email list, and you have people that follow you on Instagram, or LinkedIn, or Facebook, or whatever it is, you are an influencer! Even if that list is small, it doesn't have to be thousands and thousands of people, it can be just a few dozen people ... You're an influencer!
This opportunity right now, with the fact that the whole world is kind of coming to a halt to deal with this Coronavirus, is an amazing opportunity to reach out and bring hope and light into people's lives.
My encouragement to you is to use your platform for good, and not just take advantage of the idea that people are going to be home and probably on social media more often. Yes, this is a great time to advertise! You know that. I don't even have to say that to you, but especially, this is a good time to bring people hope and to relay great information to bring panic down.
Panic never helps anybody. And there's a...
Hey everyone! Zion here.
If you put your logo at the top of your emails in your CRM, you may have an issue when people use dark mode. This is a new feature on a lot of operating systems. Ios - Apple's operating system for their iPhone - iOS 13 came out this fall and with it came a feature called dark mode. Also the new Catalina operating system for MAX also has the dark mode feature.
It's really cool. It's a way of looking at your computer without a ton of light shining back at you. It puts a lot of the frames of the applications in a dark hue and it's not quite black but it's dark and which means your email client is going to have a dark background.

So a couple of weeks ago I was looking at an email I had sent out and my phone flipped into a dark mode because you can set it so where your phone goes into that dark mode in the evening - which is kind of a nice feature!
I noticed how terrible my logo looked at the top of my email. Now, this is...
This is Zion from GetKnownStrategy.com and today I'm talking about a design feature for your website, that at first doesn't seem like that big of a deal, but can really make your website look a lot more professional. Plus, it's really easy to do. And if you're using Kajabi, this is going to be super easy for you to do.
Guys, if you're interested in this kind of stuff, please hit the like or subscribe button, follow us on YouTube, follow us are on our blog or our website and let us give you tons of information. It's free!
All right. Without further ado, let me show you one of my favorite cool little features.
This is box shadow.
Now notice that this text looks as if it's in a box that's sort of floating on top of the page. Believe it or not, it's actually the exact same color as the background. It's both white in the box and outside of the box. It's this shadow feature, which is actually some type of gradient that's created around the...
So I'm a Kajabi user, I love Kajabi and I love their CRM, their email management system, but even if you don't use Kajabi, if you use a different platform like Infusionsoft or MailChimp, or something like that, if you're using one of those platforms and sending out emails, some of them might actually be going into people's junk mail folder.
In this video, I want to talk about why that might be happening and how to prevent it.

Before I launch into this, will you do me a quick favor and just hit the subscribe button like the video and even share the video? That would mean the world to me. All right, let's get started.
I'm going to talk a lot from the Kajabi website all about the subject and so if you want to click below, you can look at their links. They talk about it better than I could, but I'm going to kind of summarize it based on what I understand as...
Hey guys, it's Zion from Get Known.
I want to talk to you about how I solved an issue with creating a moving graphic on my website.
So for our site GetKnownStrategy.com I wanted to have graphics that are moving, illustrating the points I was making in text. And I thought at first that I could do that with video. But, as you'll see, I ended up using GIFs to do this. And after a lot of trial and error, I figured out how to do this in a really high quality, good looking way. And I'm excited to share it with you.
All right, let's check it out. So this all started when I wanted to create a way in which I can show our customers how our system works on the Get Known website.
So I created another page and I created a page in which there are graphics that just pop up and start playing.

That's it for this week!
Please feel free to share this with others that may find value in this help.

We get asked sometimes, "Why do you guys keep bringing up the software called Kajabi?" And I'll tell you why.
In today's tutorial I'll show you how to schedule out social media posts using a scheduling service.
Now there are many types of these services, the most popular being Hootsuite. But I prefer this one called Buffer. It allows you to connect up to three social accounts for free!
Click the video above for full explanation. (this is tough to describe without showing you)
So I just finished creating this blog post for Notary Coach and I want to share it to social media.
I've already emailed it out, but now I want to share it. So I can just grab the link either through the url or through the editing portion of Kajabi. I've already attached my client's social accounts to buffer. I've got his Twitter account, I've got a Facebook page and I've got an Instagram. Now again, the free version of buffer allows you to attach three. If you wanted Linkedin, Pinterest or something like that, you'd click here ....

That's it for this week! Let me...
Today we're going to be talking about letting your freak flag fly and really embracing your authentic self when you're communicating with your audience.
I think one of the most confusing parts of becoming a content creator is figuring out how much of ourselves we're supposed to share - what do we talk about and what are we supposed to share with others in our audience or with our ideal customers.
So whether we're talking about email content, blogs, social media posts, or YouTube videos, we put a lot of pressure on ourselves to be this perfect expert in our field. We think that we almost have to be someone different on camera or when we're writing or on social media than we actually are in real life.
But the greatest lesson that I've learned is that people don't relate to perfect because perfect ain't real.
People don't want to hang out and do business with a robot. People want to do business with people they know, like, and trust. So instead of being all business in...
Okay, let's get into how to shoot video. I want to give you 29 tips for making better videos for your YouTube or blog.
This is all stuff that I wish I had known when I first started.
First and foremost, you can do almost everything with your phone. You don't need a fancy camera. Pull your mobile phone out and just start shooting. Now it's going to be a little rough at first. That is okay. Everybody I've ever met that started doing videos always started in a place that was rough. Everybody. And you get better at it. You can't really learn until you just start doing it.
That being said, I'm going to give you some pitfalls to avoid. (continued) Click play on the video above.
