How To Play Texas Hold'em Remotely Through Zoom ♣️♦️

May 11, 2020

Hey it's Zion!

I want to show you how to play online poker through a zoom call with your friends and control the game yourself so you're not playing with a bunch of people you don't know. You're only playing with your friends.

This is great if you've got family and friends and are locked down right now during this Corona virus quarantine. A friend of mine figured this out - shout out to Kerry! You're awesome! He did not create this site. He found this site and the guy that made this. It's amazing. and there's a way you can contribute and send them a little bit of money for the fun you're going to get out of this. It's really awesome.

So what you're going to do is you're going to go to www.pokernow.club. Make sure you put the www in - that is needed for the site.

Once you're there, just add your name. If you're setting up the game, you're going to decide what the small and big blinds are and how much you want for everybody's stack. So in this case, a thousand bucks, you're going to click, 'I'm not a robot' unless you are a robot. If you are a robot, do not click that button. Then click 'create game', and literally you're just going to get a link. Send that link to your friends via email or text messages or something and have them just go into that site and they're going to get a screen that looks like this. They're going to add their name and they could start the game and get seated. And you'll have to go back to your computer and approve each person that joins the game. But once you get started, it's super easy.

And if you're familiar with Texas Hold'em, you'll know how to do the rules and, and I don't need to explain all the little details to you. One of the cool things though is you can, if you have to go to the bathroom or get up and get a snack or a cocktail, you can get up without making the game stop for you. You'll just lose a turn if you don't come back in time. So that's pretty cool.

So if you guys love this game, please support the creator of it. Click on his Patreon page or the 'buy me a coffee link' and send them a few bucks. That's what I did. It's a really fun game and it allows you to play poker without a ton of ads. It's totally free and you don't have to play with strangers. You don't have to get into some kind of like buy a certain amount of tokens situation. You get to control the game.

As far as playing this game over like a Zoom call with friends or family, what I'd recommend is doing this on a computer where on one side of your screen you have Zoom open where you can see everybody's pretty faces and on the other side of the screen you have a browser open, probably Chrome or Firefox or something like that and that's where you're going to play the game. The host of the game does not need to share his screen in any way because everybody has their own URL to go to.

The other way you could do this is you could have maybe an iPad open where you're playing the game and maybe have your iPhone or a mobile device and where you see everybody's faces. So you could have two different devices if that works for you, but I find it just really easy to do this on one computer with a large screen.

All right, guys, that's it. If you found this helpful, if you could hit the like and subscribe to this channel, I'd really appreciate it. Stay in touch.

This is Zion. See ya!
