Trimming and Cropping a YouTube Video, After It's Uploaded

Aug 13, 2021

Did you know, you can actually trim your video after you've uploaded it to YouTube. You can trim the beginning, the end, or even parts in between, and you can do it in YouTube. After you've uploaded the video, you don't have to, re-render your video using whatever software you have.

My name is Zion and I'm the Owner and Founder of the Get Known Service where I help and teach clients how to 'get known' in their space and industry by consistently giving value through means of podcasts, blogs, and YouTube videos.

If you'd like to learn more about our services and how we might be able to help you in your content creation, check out our website, and also subscribe to this YouTube channel. That would mean a lot.

All right, let's get into it. So I have a video here and I'm going to hit play and just show you how the beginning of it, because it was done over like a zoom app or something, the beginning of it gets cut off quite a bit. So let's check it out.

So right off the bat, there's a lot of "grain" in this, but the content of this was good. But at the beginning it looks like the screen just froze up. So we want to cut out that stuff. And then probably at the end, let's check out the end and see how it ends.

(See video for information and demonstration)

So that is how you trim a video. This is one of the most important skills to learn when creating and uploading them into YouTube. And a lot of people don't know how to do that.

So I hope that helped you guys.
